I&#8217;ve been tidying up my files and found these saved images I used when I was writing Verity into 1879 Melbourne, St Kilda and Mt Macedon. To my right is a St Kilda mansion &#8211; much like Alhambra in the novel. And on the left, underneath, is Government Cottage on Mt Macedon.
